We wrongly grow up learning that we prove our worth by how much we work and do.
Most people care more about your education and occupation than your heart.
They see your worldly success and based on this conclusion that a rich businessman who works a full-time job is more worth than a mom who stays at home caring for their family.
It is easy to praise an overtime working person and call someone who works little to study hard instead of lazy and less worthy.
The only thing that is forgotten in all of this graze is what matters the most: Your Heart.
God does not care how many hours you work a day or how many diplomas and awards you got.
What matters to God is the real valuable thing that the world likes to overlook.
God cares about your heart, he values your heart more than anything.
So please take a rest and take a good look at your heart.

Proverbs 23:4-5
Do not weary yourself to gain wealth, Cease from your consideration of it. When you set your eyes on it, it is gone. For wealth certainly makes itself wings Like an eagle that flies toward the heavens.
Hebrews 13:5
Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”
Matthew 6:25-33
“Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?
Romans 12:2
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

STORY OF MARTHA AND MARY
Luke 10:38-42
38 Now as they went on their way, Jesus[a] entered a village. And a woman named Martha welcomed him into her house. 39 And she had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet and listened to his teaching. 40 But Martha was distracted with much serving. And she went up to him and said, “Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her then to help me.” 41 But the Lord answered her, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things, 42 but one thing is necessary.[b] Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her.”
And if you are guilty of measuring a persons worth by their status rather than their heart, I challenge you to put this habit aside.
We all are different and each of us has their personal journey to follow.
We can not keep comparing ourselves to other's lives.
What we mostly see is only the surface of a person.
Rarely ever do we take the time or make the effort to look beyond that surface and see what lies in the deep.
Of course, you can not know everybody's life story but if we only try to look closer then maybe we will find a glimpse of their hearts.

When a random stranger smiles at you, someone thanks you for small things, or when someone is helping you, how wonderful is this feeling.
We should think about that for a while maybe then we can realize how much more valuable a good heart is than a good job.
Maybe then we realize what makes a persons worth is the goodness of their heart rather than their work.
You are what your heart is not your work.
Let your heart work for you and you will gain unmeasurable values.
1 Peter 3:3-4

The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.
